Why 32Co is different
Most clear aligner systems are planned largely by software. With 32Co, every single case is planned and reviewed by a specialist orthodontist through the 32Co platform, and your dentist has direct access to that orthodontist throughout your treatment. You get the convenience of a local practice with specialist-level planning behind it.
The result is one of the most predictable aligner systems available - 95% of 32Co cases finish in just one refinement, meaning fewer surprises, fewer extra aligners and a clearer idea of your finish date from the start.
How treatment works
At your free consultation we assess your teeth and take a digital scan - no messy impressions. Your case is then planned with the 32Co orthodontist team, and you will see a preview of how your teeth are expected to move before you commit to anything.
You wear each set of aligners for around 22 hours a day, changing to the next set as directed, with progress supported through the 32Co app and regular check-ins at the practice. Aligners come out for eating, drinking and brushing, so there are no food restrictions.
After treatment
As with any orthodontic treatment, retention keeps your result in place. We fit retainers at the end of treatment, and many patients finish with whitening or edge bonding once the teeth are straight - alignment first almost always gives the best cosmetic outcome.
Common questions
32Co Clear Aligners: your questions answered
How long does 32Co aligner treatment take?
It depends on how much movement your teeth need. Simple cases can finish in a few months; more involved cases take longer. Because a specialist orthodontist plans your case, you will get a realistic timescale - and a preview of the expected result - before you start.
Are 32Co aligners really invisible?
They are made from clear medical-grade plastic and are very hard to spot at conversational distance. They are also removable, so you can take them out for meals, photos and special occasions - though the 22-hour daily wear target matters for keeping treatment on track.
How is 32Co different from other clear aligners?
The key difference is who plans your treatment. Every 32Co case is planned and reviewed by a specialist orthodontist, with award-winning clinical support for your dentist throughout. That specialist oversight is why 95% of cases finish in a single refinement.
Will I need a retainer afterwards?
Yes. Teeth naturally drift back without retention, so retainers are fitted at the end of treatment - typically worn at night. Retainers are £100.
